Toyota plans to release only 860 units in the U.S. The suspension and brake upgrades extend to the entire 2024 GR86 line. Brembo brake calipers and larger rotors are dealer-installed options for 18-inch wheel-equipped GR86s.
The manual GR86 now offers adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking. With a more potent 2.4-liter engine generating 228 horsepower, the GR86 now accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds and completes a quarter-mile in 14.0 seconds, a notable improvement.
